SwipedOut
Your library stays yours

Privacy policy

Updated September 30, 2026 · Includes purchases in SwipedOut 1.1

Cerrone LLC develops SwipedOut. SwipedOut helps you review, favorite, delete, and compress media in your iPhone’s Photos library. Your photos and videos are processed on your device. The developer does not receive your library, photo location metadata, review history, or compressed videos.

Photo access

You choose which photos and videos the app can access. SwipedOut uses that access to display media, read available file sizes and capture dates, update favorites, save compressed copies, and request deletions you confirm through iOS. You can change or revoke access in iPhone Settings.

Information stored on your device

Review decisions, the free-swipe count, file-size caches, and preferences are stored locally. The app has no account system, advertisements, tracking, or third-party analytics. The current app does not send this information to the developer.

Removing the app removes its local review history and preferences. Copies already saved to Photos remain in your library. Device backups and restoration are controlled by Apple and your settings.

iCloud and Apple services

Apple’s Photos services may download originals from iCloud for viewing, playback, or compression. Library changes, including favorite updates, deletions, and saved copies, may sync to your other devices through iCloud Photos. These services are governed by Apple’s policies and your account settings.

Video compression and deletion

Compression creates a temporary file on your device for preview. Saving adds a new copy to Photos with the original capture date, location, and favorite status where available. The original stays in Photos unless you separately confirm deletion.

Discarded previews are removed. Abandoned temporary exports are cleared when the app next launches. Deletions follow Apple’s Recently Deleted behavior.

Purchases

Apple processes payments and provides purchase records that the app verifies on your device to unlock lifetime access and restore previous purchases. The developer’s servers do not receive your payment details or purchase records from the app. Apple handles its services under its own privacy policy.

Support requests

If you contact support, the developer receives what you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and attachments, and uses that information to respond and troubleshoot. Only send information needed to explain the issue. You do not need to include private photos.

This website

This support website does not include advertising or analytics scripts. Hosting providers may process connection information, such as an IP address and browser details, to serve and protect the website.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices change. The version and date above identify this policy.
